Itinerary
Lake Humantay Full Day Itinerary
We begin early in the morning with departure from Cusco at 4:00 a.m. for a scenic drive toward Mollepata. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, where you will stop to enjoy breakfast.
After breakfast, continue by car for around 1 hour to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike to Humantay Lake. The trail is approximately 5 km (3 miles) and is considered moderate in difficulty, with some steep sections and rocky terrain.
During the hike, you will enjoy spectacular Andean landscapes, including snow-capped mountains, valleys, and views of the Vilcabamba mountain range. Once at the lake, there will be time to rest, take photos, and admire the scenery.
